Though full of potentials, there was no hope for education; hungry but no food; sick but no medical care; yet she had one desire; rise and shine. Every arrow that could make her blind, every stone that could make her stumble, every obstacle that you make her fall, she
conquered.

Because love met her when she couldn’t feed, clothe and make her dreams a reality. That tender love that embraced her in her wilderness of self discovery has grown into a giant tree that desire to provide shade for many
‘Esther’ in the dark and vulnerable days of her dreams and self discovery.

This giant tree, Showing Love to the Slum Initiative, is a Non-Profit Non-Governmental Organisation, has the vision to show love to the Slum, through qualitative education, health/medical support, skill acquisition, rehabilitation and human capacity development.

At Showing Love to the Slum Initiative, every adult lost in the slum; child fighting to live; and youth battling to succeed, is never alone but with a friend with open arms to embrace and nurture him/her into priceless assets to himself/herself and the society at large.

We believe that no humanity is beyond redemption, and no child should lack the core privileges of food, clothing, shelter, quality education, quality healthcare, and human capacity investment.

We feel the pulse and warmth of the vulnerable child, youth, and adult, and we embrace and empower them to greatness.
