• Support babies battling for their lives with blood donation, surgical support, drugs and care for indigent
mothers.
• Reach out to those who can’t afford their hospital bills for minor to major
health challenges.
• Medical outreaches in rural communities for health sensitizations, education, and free medical treatment
for the aged, vulnerable members.
Hope Assured
Empowering lives academically by:
• Providing scholarship for basic education for out of school children.
• Offering education aide through the provision of free books and learning materials for pupils and school libraries.
• And by organization and participating in education sensitization programmes to mark special education events.
Restoration & Rehabilitation
Helping families and individuals stand back up by:
• Rebuilding broken dreams
• Skill acquisition trainings
• Business empowerment
• Therapy and Counselling programs
• Sensitization programs for personal finance, personal development and purpose fulfilling life.
The Story So Far...
Started off as a group of friends (Dr. Mena & Friends) with a similar passion of reaching out to the children of the slums.
Organized classes for subjects with no available teachers
Makeshift school was dilapidated and soaked both pupils and volunteers whenever it rained.
Organized various medical outreaches & feeding programmes during the COVID-19 Outbreak
Empowered over 300 women to cushion the effects of the economic meltdown
Set out to rebuild the dilapidated school at the slum (Yenegoa IDP Camp) so children can learn in safe environment
Collaborated with the Rotary Club of Yenegoa City Center to complete the school rebuild project.
Completed School was handed over to the community school principal
Earned our first Recognition Award for our selfless efforts and activities at the IDP Camp
Became officially registered with CAC as Showing Loves to the Slums Initiative
Celebrated Children’s Day through the distribution of books, dictionaries, story books and other educational materials to stimulate learning and development in children.
In collaboration with Healing Hands Health Society (American based NGO), embarked on several outreaches to distribute food items, safe water and medicines to Bayelsans displaced by the flood
Running a mobile clinic to support the flood victims
